Why Man in Thailand Hung 11 Month Old Baby & Commited Suicide on Facebook Live

Fox news reports the sad case of a man in Thailand who hung himself and his 11-month-old daughter on Facebook live yesterday.

Police Colonel, Jirasak Siemsak said that the bodies of the victims where found in an abandoned hotel in Thailand’s Phuket province. This came after the police had received footage of the video.

Wuttisan Wongtalay, 20, was reportedly upset with his wife, so he took the baby and planned to kill them both, in a plot to make his wife suffer.

“He felt neglected by his wife because they had been fighting, so he took his 11-month-old daughter to the site of the crime which is the abandoned hotel, then we found the bodies hanging off the hotel,” authorities state.

The disturbing video was posted on Facebook and YouTube, garnering over a 100,000 views within the hour of each posting. The posts were however taken down, as each platform was informed by the police. Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg  vowed to improve Facebook’s reporting processes, after offering a condolence message to the family.

  • This is sad. But why put it on Facebook live? Why kill an innocent child with yourself? I don’t know why people bring their innocent kids into fights they have with their spouses. Leave these kids out of your drama and mess because they didn’t ask for any of these.
