PHOTOS: President Buhari’s Daughter, Halima, Called To Bar
President Muhammadu Buhari‘s daughter, Halima Buhari, was called to Bar on Thursday, 14th of July, along with over two thousand others at two separate ceremonies held in the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Punch reports that an 80-year-old man, named Pius Chuka Enebeli, was among the over two thousand called to bar at the two ceremonies, presided over by the Chairman of the Body of Benchers, Bandele Aiku.
While presenting the candidates for the actual Call, the Director-General of the Nigerian Law School (NLS), Olanrewaji Onadeko, acknowledged Enebeli’s record-breaking feat as the oldest new wig to be produced by the Nigerian Law School.
He said, “Let me also congratulate one of the new wigs, who is making his history in his own right, by being the oldest new wig ever produced by the Nigerian Law School. He is 80-years-old and we wish him a very successful career at the bar.”
Family, friends and well-wishers who were present at the special occasion included Halima’s mother and wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, her siblings, Yusuf and Zahra. The President also later took photos with the new lawyer and his other two children who recently graduated from the University of Surrey, England.
