Prince George, dressed in sky-blue knickerbockers, white stockings and loafers, stole the show. He was snapped leading other children in the bridal party in a march outside St Andrew’s Church.

5-year-old George – in a collarless white shirt, sky-blue knickerbockers, white stockings and white loafers – seemed in particularly playful mood while Princess Charlotte was pictured pouting.

While Charlotte, 3, who wore a white dress with blue piping and circlet of flowers, seemed unimpressed with his antics, frowning as she clutched a posy and a blue bag, George laughed and giggled – and even led his fellow pageboys in a game of soldiers, marching around the church drive after the ceremony.

Earlier he had poked his head out of the church porch several times as he waited for the bride to arrive.

Accompanied by their parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they were among seven excited youngsters taking part in the wedding. All the children wore bespoke outfits from Amaia Kids.
