Meghan Markle Makes Heartbreaking Confession About Her New Life
Since her wedding to Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry last May, the spotlight has definitely been on the new Duchess. From her fashion choices to the official Sussex Royal Instagram account, royal fans are keen to see what the American actress, 37, does next.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has admitted that living in the royal family ‘isn’t easy’. The new mom revealed this during a recent public appearance.
Everyone was desperate to get a glimpse of the newest royal too, following the birth of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. He appeared at a private photo call with his mum and dad just a few days after he was born, and royal fans got another glimpse recently after official photos of his private christening were posted.
But despite all the exciting things that have happened to Meghan, the Duchess recently admitted that royal life can be a challenge. She recently attended the premiere of The Lion King, and her conversation with musician Pharrell Williams has been posted online.

The clip was shared on Twitter, where Pharrell praised the ‘wonderful union’ between the couple, adding:
”Love is amazing. It’s wonderful. Don’t ever take that for granted but what it means in today’s climate, I just wanted to tell you it’s so significant for so many of us. Seriously. We cheer you guys on.”

The Duchess can be heard responding: ”Thank you, they don’t make it easy.”
Pharrell nodded and said, “So you understand then… so you understand the significance. It’s beautiful.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship is one that has been heavily scrutinised, with many celebrating their biracial marriage and the fact that a woman of colour is now a major part of one of the most photographed families in the world.
Even prior to her relationship with Harry, Meghan discussed the significance of being a mixed race woman in Elle in 2015 and dealing with the “Pandora’s box of discrimination”.
In 2016, Prince Harry released an impassioned statement – highly unusual for a Royal Family member – after his relationship with Markle became public knowledge. In the statement, he said via his Communications Secretary that “a line [had been] crossed” and said that he was “deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect her”.
The statement read,
“Meghan Markle has been subject to a wave of abuse and harassment. Some of this has been very public – the smear on the front page of a national newspaper; the racial undertones of comment pieces; and the outright sexism and racism of social media trolls and web article comments.”
