Lagos State Government Reopens Cinemas, Spas And Others, Releases New Guidelines
The Lagos State Government has announced the reopening of cinemas, spas, gyms and recreational centres in the state.
This was announced on Twitter by Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Mr. Gboyega announced that cinemas, spas and gyms are to reopen at 33% capacity which is one-third of their capacity and must get necessary certification from the Lagos State Safety Commission.

“Update: Lagos State Governor @jidesanwoolu announces resumption of cinemas, spas and gyms in the State. Cinemas must however keep strictly to 33% of their capacities. They must get necessary certification from the Lagos State Safety Commission.
“If they have gotten safety protocol clearance, from tomorrow, Sunday, they can resume.”

Cinemas, spas and gyms were closed by the Lagos state government as a way to curb the spread of COVID-19 in the state and has remained close since then.
