Nigerian media personality, Amanda Chisom has taken to her social media to share her experience with some officials at the airport.
In a Facebook post, Amanda narrated how Ethiopian airline officials nearly deceived her by giving her a false positive COVID-19 test result at the airport.
According to Amanda, after carrying out a test on her, she was told she was positive for COVID-19 and at that point she said she summoned courage and went to their manager to show her the result of the test or sue them.
Well, after seeing the result, it came out negative and she wonders how many people they would have done such terrible thing to. She went further to reveal that if not for the guts she had, she would have been swindled and forced to 14-days quarantine.
Sharing further, she noted that it is important to have guts in some situations as she vowed she will not be boarding the airline again after the incident.
“If not for anything, try get liver and guts. This humans slammed me with a covid positive results. Just looked at me and said ” Chisom you are positive”
I went sat down, remembered whose daughter I was because no way in he’ll will I spend 14days here. For me it was either back to Nigeria or back to Nigeria.
I went back, asked to see the manager, he came, in proper queen’s English, I told him if I pay you for a test, I want to see my results. If I don’t have my result, I will sue you people till there is no more suits to file.
He went and got the result himself, lo and behold it was negative. What it means that people were just told ” you are positive and they accept it”. And they use them to spin cash.
