‘My Silence Out Of Love For You’ – Actor, Damola Olatunji Celebrates Father’s Day With Touching Message About Fatherhood
Nollywood actor, Damola Olatunji, has spoken out following his separation from his children’s mother, Bukola Awoyemi popularly known as Bukola Arugba.
Bukola Arugba had announced her separation from the actor in May, noting that they had never been married.
Celebrating Father’s Day, the actor who is marking his first Father’s Day without his partner by his side posted a throwback video of himself and his children on his Instagram account and captioned it with a powerful message about fatherhood.
He stated that a father’s tears and fears are unseen, and his love is unexpressed but his care and protection remain as a pillar of strength throughout the lives of his seeds.
In a message to his twins, he added that his silence is out of love and respect for them.
“A Father’s tears and fears are unseen, his love is unexpressed but his care and protection remains as a pillar of strength throughout the lives of his seeds. Taiwo and Kehinde my silence is out of my love and respect for you.”

Months back, Bukola who shares a boy and a girl (twins) with Damola, announced their separation.

Issuing out a PSA through her solicitors, Bukola revealed that she and Damola are no longer an item and have parted ways. According to the statement, the estranged lovebirds were never married but are blessed with twins.
Though the statement didn’t disclose the reason for the separation, it stated that the separation is without any hard feelings or ill will.
The estranged couple’s main focus and priority is their twins, who they have both agreed to jointly ensure that their well-being and welfare are guaranteed.
Hours after her post, Damola, who was unbothered by the separation took to his Instagram page to celebrate. The Yoruba actor, who was overjoyed with the news, shouted for joy as he shared a video of himself enjoying life.
“Hallelu, haaaleeeluuuu, hallelujah”, he wrote.
This had caused division among his fans as some faulted him for celebrating the disheartening news while others cheered him on.
