Actor Nkem Owoh Finally Breaks Silence On Daughter’s Sudden Demise

Veteran comic actor, Nkem Owoh has finally broken silence on the sudden death of his daughter as he releases his first official statement.

Kosisochukwu was only 24-year-old when she passed away after battling liver cancer on June 28, 2023. She was laid to rest on Thursday, August 18.

Since her sudden demise, the movie star who is also known as Osoufia, took a break from social media to mourn his beloved daughter.

However, he took to his Instagram page on Monday, August 28, to release an official statement, expressing gratitude for the love and support shown to his family in their moment of grief.

The 65-year-old actor said he feels a deep sense of loss because losing his daughter is a change he wasn’t mentally and emotionally prepared for. He, however, stated that he believes he will get through the tragedy.

“I want to thank you all for the support and love shown to me and my family. When tragedy strikes, there is nothing more heartening than knowing that you’re not alone.

It was with deep gratitude that I received your note, and calls with condolences. We have seen many changes over the years. But this is a change I did not anticipate and I am feeling an acute sense of loss.

However, I know that because of your encouragement, I will get through this time. Thank you for helping to push me through my grief.”
