‘When Me And Chioma Found Out We Were Having Twins…’ -New Dad, Davido Speaks On The Birth Of His Babies
Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke better known by his stage name Davido has happily spoken out again following the birth of his set of twins.
It is no longer news that the award-winning musician and his wife, Chioma Rowland have welcomed twins, a boy and a girl.
Though the couple didn’t confirm the news as at the time, Davido fueled the rumors after he hinted at his wife becoming ‘Mama Ibeji’ (mother of twins) in his song titled ‘In The Garden’.
The new dad had also tweeted on Sunday that this week would be the best week in his life. His brother, Adewale Adeleke further fueled the rumors as he gave thanks to God on Twitter.
Now, the news has been confirmed as a video of Davido and Chioma with their twins leaving the hospital has surfaced online.
Speaking at a recent event, the music star revealed how he and Chioma found out about the news, which left them shaking.
Describing it as crazy, he noted how his twins were born the same month, his late son, Ifeanyi was born. The super excited father wrote:
“Three days ago, my wife delivered twins. A beautiful boy and girl came back in double. When me and Chioma found out we were expecting twins, we were shaking. And they came back in the same month when the twins passed. It’s crazy. Despite all that happened, I still kept faith, it’s very hard.
A lot of people that those things happen to, they will never want to believe in God in their life. But to still have faith and do what I love, having a great team around me and just focusing. Now we are almost at a finished line. It’s a story I want people to see and watch.”
