Actress Debbie Shokoya Reflects On Her Recent Pregnancy Loss As She Shares Testimony

Popular Yoruba actress, Deborah Shokoya otherwise known as Debbie is reflecting on her painful pregnancy loss.

A few months ago, Debbie, in an emotional video on her Instagram page, tearfully narrated the heartbreaking story of how she lost her pregnancy at eight months.

Recounting her sad and traumatizing experience on August 17, the thespian disclosed that many people knew that she was pregnant and were expecting to receive news of the birth of her child, but sadly, some things happened and she lost the pregnancy.

In an updated post, the Nollywood star made it clear that she wasn’t creating a video to attract sympathy; instead, she was sharing her story to point out how many pregnant women passed away while carrying their child and how some even died after giving birth.

Debbie, in the video, expressed her gratitude, stating that even though things didn’t go as she had hoped, they did as God had intended. She added that even though she has pains and bruises from her loss, she is stronger than them all.

The newly married went further to express gratitude to her husband, whom she called her better half.
