Netizens Praise IK Osakioduwa As He Shares Why He Will Never Split Bills 50/50 With His Wife
Renowned media personality, IK Osakioduwa, has received praises from netizens after he revealed why he will never split bills with his wife.
The entertainer in an interview with Toke Makinwa on her podcast, Toke Moments, stated that he has never split bills with his wife.
He went further to reveal that even though his wife earns a lot, he can never go 50-50 with her as he emphasizes his role as the provider of the home.
According to the happily married dad of two, his wife doesn’t know how much their children’s school fees is and if she does, she has never used her own money to pay it.
He made it known that he will never allow his wife pay such bills in his house.
Toke holds the opinion that it was not normal for women to work until recently, stating that it has always been the role of men to go out and provide for their family.
IK concurred, sharing that the role of a woman is mostly companionship, which is evident when they give their husbands peace of mind.

The media person who has been married to his wife for over 15 years further revealed that although his wife contributes when she notices that he is not financially buoyant, he would never demand it from her.

Last year, skit-maker Kiekie stirred the internet when she opened up about her decision to share and split bills with her husband, providing a more stable partnership.
Her statement of splitting bills with her husband, didn’t sit well with many, who chided her.
Actress, Peggy Ovire knocked her as she told Kiekie to admit that she earns more than her husband. Peggy avowed that it’s her husband’s responsibility to pay the bills especially since he can afford it.
For her, her duty is to take care of the home and be there for emergency cases as her husband wouldn’t allow her split bills with him..
Also, actress Chizzy Alichi said she refused to be part of the women who split bills with their husbands, adding that it was all on her husband to cater for the household.
