‘I Admit That I Made…’ – Actress Halima Abubakar Tenders Public Apology To Controversial Cleric, Apostle Johnson Suleiman
Embattled Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar has tendered a public apology to cleric Apostle Johnson Suleiman of Omega Fire Ministries, for defaming him and lying against him.
In her letter, Halima said she acknowledges the ‘falsehood and lies’ she published against the controversial man of God and is tendering her apologies.
Halima said she has realized the depth of the ‘’harm, pain and distress” the lies she told caused the clergyman and how it affected his church and family, adding that she regrets her actions.
This apology comes six months after a Federal Capital Territory High Court ordered Abubakar to pay N10m as damages to the cleric for publishing derogatory comments against him.
The cleric had accused Abubakar of publishing libellous statements against him on her Instagram page. The Apostle specifically said Abubakar accused him of being a womaniser and diabolical, among others.

“I am writing to you today to acknowledge the falsehoods I made against you on social media and to offer my sincerest apologies. After deep reflections, and for my conscience to be in accord with God, I have realized the depth of the harm, pains and distress caused by my lies.
I admit that I made false allegations against you; and also regret my actions and the damage I caused to you, your wife, Dr. Mrs. Lizzy Suleman, your family, and the Leaders of the Omega Fire Ministry.
With this letter, I humbly ask for your forgiveness, recognizing that my apology cannot undo the harm, pains and distress I caused and I ask you find a place in your heart to forgive me as I was not thinking right then. Sir, you have done a lot for humanity, please, extend your hands of forgiveness toward me.
Once again, Sir, I am truly sorry for all the hurts and distress I caused you, your family, and your ministry.

The drama between Abubakar and Apostle Suleman started in 2022 when the actress became bedridden following her altercation with the clergyman.
It all started in June of same, when a controversial blogger, Gist Lover, disclosed that the actress was in a relationship with the man of God, who is allegedly fetish.
The faceless blog unveiled numerous secrets and identities allegedly involved with Apostle Suleiman.
A few hours after the reports emerged online, Halima confirmed the story via her Instagram story and claimed there would be a disaster if she decided to speak regarding the issue.
Surprisingly, none of her colleagues have showed support for her in her fight with the pastor. Following her ailing health, actress, Iheme Nancy took to Instagram to show support for her.
She called for help and prayer for the actress as she noted how the pastor has always been in the midst of scandals.
