“We were trying for a while”: Ray J & Wife Announce They’re Expecting 1st Child Together

Just one year after tying the knot, Brandy‘s younger brother, Ray J and his pretty wife, Princess love have announced they are expecting their first child together after going through fertility issues.

The singer, 36, who is mostly famous for his sex tape with Kim Kardashian, confirmed the happy news when he appeared on the talk show ‘The Real‘ on Monday. He also admitted that the couple had struggled to get pregnant and took more time than he’d expected.

”Love is on my mind. Love is in my heart. Princess and I are expecting,” he told the hosts.

”I’m nervous, excited,” he said. ‘It finally happened.’

Ray J also said they didn’t know the gender of their child yet, but that he was hoping for a little girl;

“We were trying for a while. It’s not as easy as people think.”

After he made the announcement, his wife, Princess shared the first photo of her baby bump on her Instagram page writing…

”It’s such a blessing from God to be able to carry our child. We kept this to ourselves until after the first trimester because it’s bad luck to announce too early.

But we’re so proud to share this journey with you guys. Thank you for all of the love and prayers ❤️.”

Ray J. also reposted the same picture on his page.

The parents-to-be got married in August 2016 and will be expecting their first child on January 17, which is also Ray J’s birthday.
