Husband And Dad Of Two, Ronald Ng’eno, Who Cheated Death In Terror Attack On Kenyan Hotel Smiles Again
A husband and doting father of two boys, Mr Ronald Ng’eno, is lucky to be alive after he was caught in the mix of a siege laid by religious extremists on a luxury hotel he was in, in Kenya.
In the early hours of Tuesday, the brazen attack by four terrorists on a luxury hotel and shopping complex sent shock-waves round the world as reports and images of the impact of the then ongoing terror attack on lives and property filtered through from the scene of the crime to the outside world after Kenyan security forces moved in to stop the bloodshed.

Mr. Ng’eno who was caught up in the chaos, fearing for his life, managed to send his possibly last thoughts via tweets that went viral.
But luck was on his side as he was among over 174 people who were rescued overnight even as security forces continued to battle the attackers more than 12 hours after the siege started.

Ng’eno was evacuated hours after he tweeted a “goodbye message” to his family should he die in the attack.
In a series of tweets, he had given updates on the harrowing situation inside Dusit D2 Hotel at a time no one knew exactly what was happening.
In his first ‘goodbye’ tweet, the distraught dad had written,
“Please tell my family I love then I love you Caleb, Mark and Carol.”
In another tweet, he wrote;
“If I die I love the Lord and believe I will go to heaven please tell my family I love them. I love you Caleb, Mark and Carol”
But all is well that ends well, the doting father who describes himself as a husband, father, communication consultant, trainer and photographer, tweeted at 6:20am on Wednesday to the relief of those who had been hoping to hear good news that he was well.
He wrote:
“Dear all thank you for your support. I am now out and at home with my family. Thanks to the brave @NPSOfficial_KE @kdfinfo for risking their lives to save others.”
