I’m A Product’ -Here’s What Eedris Abdulkareem Wants Everyone To Know About Polygamy As He Warns Against It
Veteran hip-hop, RnB, and Afrobeat artist, Eedris Turayo Abdulkareem Ajenifuja popularly known as Eedris Abdulkareem, has advised people, including the Muslims to run from polygamy as it is not ideal.
The music artist who disclosed that he is a product of a polygamous home said people should ‘shine their eyes and not be deceived’ as polygamy is cancerous and destructive.
According to the 48-year-old dad-of-three:
“I am a product of a polygamous family and I hate it with all passion, it is cancerous, no peace, no oneness and very loose family ties.”
Addressing Muslims who insist they have a right to marry multiple wives according to their religion, the music star said stated that the Holy Quran said a man can marry two or more women if he can love them equally. He then asked how many men can actually love two women equally.
The ‘Nigeria JagaJaga’ crooner went on to say that many Muslims want multiple wives but find it hard to pray 5 times a day.
“You want four wives when you can’t even handle five prayers Focus on fardh before thinking of Sunnah,”
he wrote.

Last year, Eedris shared a lovely photo of him and his household as he celebrated his 18th wedding anniversary with his wife.
Eedris could be seen in the photos with his three children, a boy and two females, and his wife rocking similar outfits to mark the celebration.
The veteran singer also penned a goodwill message to his wife as he wrote,

It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
