Nigerian rapper, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike better known as Phyno, has shared his opinion about the rampant practice of polygamy by his colleagues in the entertainment industry.

Speaking during an interview with The Whistler, the singer and songwriter clarified the difference between home breaking and polygamy.

According to him, having a child outside one’s marriage should not be described as polygamy as the latter was a conscious and deliberate act, not a mistake. He went on to state that when such situations arise, it’s imperative to take up the responsibilities and cater for the child.

He further insisted that home breaking is not polygamy, however, if a man intentionally decides to take another wife, while still married to another woman is what polygamy is.
