Meet 52-Year-Old Mum Who Still Breastfeeds Her 6-Year-Old Daughter

This 52-year-old mum, Maha Al Musa, still regularly breastfeeds her 6-year-old daughter Aminah and hasn’t immunised her because she believes strongly in the power of her breastmilk. She adds that she will breastfeed her daughter in the school playground if she demands for it.

According to DailyMail, the Byron Bay mother was pictured in Woman’s Day on Monday cradling Aminah as she was being breastfed in a park in her school uniform.

‘Sometimes it tastes like candy canes. It tastes like a lot of different things. It’s my favourite thing to do when I’m not at school. More kids should because it’s good for you…4-8 (years) is NORMAL age for self weaning,’ she said.

While Aminah is normally breastfed before she goes to bed, Ms Al Musa said she will feed her wherever and whenever her daughter wants as she is just responding to her natural desire.
