How he met his wife

I am not really a fan of divorce. So, I have always been someone that would be very careful to choose a wife to make sure that she’s a person you won’t regret marrying at the end of the day. So a friend pointed out this girl to me that was her friend on Instagram and unconsciously, I was following her and liking all her picture because she is a pretty woman with a lovely shape. I liked her page and later she followed me back. It was very funny because when I saw her, the first thing I told my friend was I was going to marry her. That was how it started.

If he is legally married to his wife

Yes, we got married in Europe; we had a court wedding in June 20 in Serbia. Hopefully she will be coming down to Nigeria next month, and then we would work towards a white wedding early next year. She needs to gain her energy back after giving birth. She is a strong woman though, she is already very active but planning a wedding and being fully involved in a wedding is a whole process altogether. So, we will look forward to that one sometimes next year.

How will he describe his wife?

My woman is God-fearing. She is very intelligent; she speaks about 18 languages. She is a fast learner, already speaking Igbo. She is someone that believes in positivity, she doesn’t allow any form of negativity in our relationship. We don’t fight; we are like best of friends. Most of the time, we put aside the fact that we are in a relationship, we are very good friends, and we go out together. We do everything that I will probably do with my homeboy.

On being a father

I have been a father for the past three years. I have a daughter, Makeela. She is about three years old now. So, being a father is not new to me, but this is the first time that I’d be a father in a family. You know, being a father with a wife and a son. Now, I have the sense of responsibility to guide my son with the sub-consciousness that this boy will always look up to me as a role model.

So, I have to be careful of my actions and inactions to make sure that when the time comes for me to advise him and try to give him some words of wisdom to guide his path, he can always look at me and say my father is living a life worthy of emulation. Apart from that, nothing really has changed.
