Ace Comedian, Ali Baba, Gushes About Wife’s Outstanding Qualities

Ace Comedian, Ali Baba, in a recent interview with City People, spoke about the outstanding qualities of his wife Mary, and also revealed she is the one that cracks them up at home.

On how he has been able to maintain a strong marriage with his wife

She has tried ooo. I give her the credit. Many don’t know Mary is also as funny as I am. My wife is actually the one that cracks jokes at home. I don’t. I only crack jokes on stage. She is funny. Many forget that my wife has a Theatre background. She read Theatre Arts from UNIBEN. But she has gone on to get Masters in Finance.

How does he balance marriage and career

I think my wife knows me very well. I know my wife a bit. My wife is a straight forward person. In my own case, I am a Warri Boy. So, my wife tries to understand me. I know my wife, but my wife tries to understand me. She is very quiet, humorous, business-like, very thorough. Me, I like to fly. She is a consummate banker and so she thinks deeper about figures and speculations.

I maybe on a wild goose chase and all she just wants is to get the concrete terms. We have been doing okay. We have managed well. Like I say, my wife actually tolerates me because my kind of job is not your regular 9am to 5pm. In her own case she has a 9 to 5 job. One day I challenged her You will just wake up and you will say you want to travel and I must travel with you.

I said if I was working 9 to 5 will I be able to do that. She said thats why I didn’t marry somebody who was working 9 to 5. We tag along very well.
