Migrating Cameroonian Woman Gives Birth at Sea

A migrating woman was left with no choice of where to deliver her baby as she went into labour as she crossed the Mediterranean Sea. She delivered her baby with the help of a team of doctors from Médecins Sans Frontières, (MSF).

The incident which took place a few days back saw the doctor’s charity vessel save a laboring woman from a rubber boat.

According to report; there were 120 people in the rubber boat, including pregnant women and children. As the heavily pregnant woman was helped out of the rubber boat, it became clear that she was in pain. After being examined by a doctor, it was confirmed that 25-year-old Collins from Cameroon was in labor.
