Woman Who Lied Fiancé’s Boss Raped Her Spared Jail Because Of Her Children

23-year-old mum of two and bride-to-be, Sophie Tucker had invited her fiancé’s boss, 51-year-old Carl Williamson, to her home and engaged in a sex act with him a mere couple of days before she was due to marry his employee and her fiancé, 28-year-old Chris Hutchings, Metro UK reports.

Prior to this, she had allegedly been sending Williamson a string of messages and naked selfies on via social media. When he eventually arrived to honour an invitation she allegedly threw him on the sofa and began performing a sex act, however, Williamson bumped into his employee, Hutchings, as he left the home, Tucker then lied to her fiancé she’d been raped.

Mr Williamson was arrested and spent seven hours in custody. He was then put on bail for 24 days until Tucker, from Torrington, Devon finally confessed her lie. Mr Williamson wrote in a victim statement that he was ‘treated like a criminal’ and the false allegation had affected both his business and his psychological state.

Adrian Chaplin told Exeter Crown Court in defence of Tucker who is based in Torrington, Devon that,

‘She is a young and immature woman who stupidly and selfishly got involved in a wholly inappropriate flirtation on the eve of her wedding.’

The mother-of-two was given an 18-month suspended jail sentence after admitting to perverting justice. Judge Ian Lawriece QC while delivering the sentence told Tucker he did not want her children to ‘suffer for your actions and stupidity.’
