A perverted couple have been found guilty of using her six-year-old daughter as a “cash cow” and selling her for sex online. The woman, 57, faces up to 26 years in prison after a jury in the US convicted her of more than a dozen sex crimes involving her daughter while her husband has already been sentenced to 27 years in jail after pleading guilty to first-degree child rape, child molestation and possession of child pornography.
According to The Herald, at least one video has been found of the girl being abused by an unidentified man while her mother watched.
The prosecution said the woman and her husband placed adverts on the online classifieds site Craigslist to find men who wanted to sexually assault the girl in their home in the state of Washington.
The woman was convicted of child rape, molestation, child pornography and promoting the commercial sexual abuse of a minor. Their names are not being published as it would identify the child and her younger brother.
“The defendant saw her child, her six-year-old daughter, as her play thing for her own s3xual gratification,” the prosecutor said in closing arguments.
The woman is set to be sentenced in march.
