Emotional Photos From OJB’s Wake keeping & Service Of Songs
A wake-keep and service of songs in honour of the late Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel was held last night July 7th at National Stadium, Lagos.
In attendance were some of his colleagues in the entertainment industry K- Solo, Essence, Rasqie, DJ Humility, KSB, Okey Bakassi, Sammie Okposo, Lara George, Azadus, Dj Boombastic, Grace Amah, Dj Gosporella, Jazzman Olofin and Ruggedman among others.
One of his eight children, Zion Okungbowa took the first Bible reading at his father’s funeral while Sammie Okposo took the opening worship session.
He will be interred at the Ikoyi cemetery on Friday.
Recall that OJB died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, following complications reported to have arisen from kidney failure.
The late producer battled with kidney problems since 2013 and was flown to India for a transplant. However, his kidney transplant failed again a week before he finally died.
