As a stay-at-home mum who also works from home, coming up with quick and easy-to-prepare recipes that will reduce my cooking time so I can create some extra time for myself and time alone with my kids during the day has always been number on my list.
This recipe is one of my go-to recipes that my family loves. I keep leftover in the freezer and warm it in the microwave when needed. Try it out too.
Ingredients 500 g minced meat 1 tspn salt All purpose seasoning 1 onion (chopped) 1 egg 1.5 dl milk 25 g butter (melted) 1 tbspn black pepper 3 dl rice cooked (mashed) 1/2 tspn powdered cloves

How to prepare *Preheat oven to 175°C. Mix salt and meat. Add black pepper, onion, cloves, seasoning and egg. *Mix everything together with hand. Mix in the mashed rice and butter and keep adding a little milk at a time until desired consistency is achieved. Mold and bake in oven for 30-35 minutes or until the balls begin to turn brown.
NOTE: You can also fry them with the 25 g of butter instead of adding it to the mixture. Serve warm with vegetables and sauce of choice.
