Why Teenager Dumped Her Four Month Old Baby Under Oshodi Bridge
An 18-year-old mom, Timilehin Adeshina, was arrested for dumping her baby under Oshodi bridge in Lagos state. The naked baby who was packed inside a bag, was rescued by operatives of the Lagos State Task Force. The teenage has been living with her mom after her dad died about 9 years ago.
According to PM News,
Adeshina, who dropped out of school while in Junior Secondary School II, as a result of poverty, resorted to sleeping with men for money. She said:
“My mother sent me out because I could not identify the man who impregnated me. I had sex with different men.”
Adeshina who has been living on the streets, was recently transferred to the Social Welfare Department of the Lagos State Ministry of Youths and Social Development.
