Why Evil Minded Couple Filmed How they Drugged & Raped Neighbour’s Wife

An evil minded couple has been apprehended for reportedly drugging and raping their neighbour’s wife after luring her to a hotel. The heinous act which was filmed by the rapist’s wife was shared on social media by the couple.

The 32-year old man, Obinna Arthur and his wife, Chinyere Arthur, who reside at Ogundipe Street in Santos Layout in Akowonjo, Lagos, were arrested and brought before an Ejigbo Magistrate in Lagos after committing the evil act.

The couple were said to have lured the victim to Greenland Hotel in Egbeda where they drugged her before taking her to one of the rooms in the hotel, PM Express exclusively reports.

In the room, the victim, a mother-of-4, was stripped, raped and the sexually violated. Everything was recorded with a video phone. The victim told the court:

”After I was persuaded to come to the hotel, they offered me juice to drink, which I later found to have been mixed with a substance that made one feel dizzy.

In my state of dizziness, they took me to a room within the hotel premise where the husband forcefully had sex with me, while the wife was videoing the romp with her phone but covered her husband’s face from being seen in the video.

After the dastardly act, they went ahead to upload the act to the Internet and shared it on the social media and among my neighbours. I reported the matter to the police who later arrested the couple and charged them to court,” she narrated.

Obinna, who hails from Ogidi, Anambra State has admitted in his confessional statement to the police that he did so as a revenge over the business transaction between him and the victim’s husband, Kenneth, which later turned sour.

According to the father of two kids, he collected the sum of N1.2 million from the victim’s husband and when he was unable to pay, he then planned to blackmail Kenneth by sexually assaulting his wife so he could forget the money.

Narrating further, the victim said that the couple relocated to Lagos from Onitsha, Anambra State last year and moved into their compound and they later became family friends.

She said her husband loaned the suspect the money for importation of clothes and when her husband started demanding the money from him, he then planned to blackmail the family.

The woman said because they were family friends, when Obinna called her husband to send her to the popular hotel in Egbeda, Alimosho area of Lagos to collect the money, she did not suspect any foul play.
