Dear MIMster: I need advice on how to handle my sister for using my daughter

I am a 36 year-old single mum and I am in a blind rage right now. I went out this evening and left the key of my room with my 9 years old daughter.

Currently, I live in my family house with my daughter, four other siblings and my mum. I run my business and all my siblings are working. I am the last child. The reason why I am giving you an insight into my background is because I want you to understand why I am very angry.

My immediate older sister who is 38 years old convinced my little daughter to open my door so she could take two thousand Naira from her savings and give it to her.  My daughter knows where I kept her savings. I have already beaten my daughter for breaking my trust. Now, I have been seriously thinking of how best to approach this issue with my older sister of mine without going into a shouting match. Do you have any advice for me?

If I was in ur shoes,I will warn her very well in front of my parents and other siblings, then change where I keep the money incase of an occurrence,it might not be ur sister again who will leave some for you but might be robbers or all these 419 people who jazz pple
    Just let it go

  • Walk up to your sister and register your displeasure about what she did. Tell her it is very wrong and shouldn’t repeat itself again then change where you keep the money and don’t allow your daughter know.

  • What your sister did is very disrespectful and wrong in every level. Confront her.
