Dear MIMsters: He Is the Love of My Life But My Parents Rejected Him

I fell in love with a man from Ebonyi State while I am from Anambra State. This guy loves me, loves the ground upon which I walked. He treated me like a queen and I reciprocate his love but my parents have rejected him.
He was very well behaved, always the first one to apologise even if I was the one at fault. This doesn’t mean that I am not one to say sorry but he would not even wait for me to apologise first. Just to avoid causing more trouble he would say sorry and amend every thing.
Anytime I am around him, I feel so happy and bursting with joy but the problem now is that my parents have vowed that I cannot marry a man from Ebonyi State even though we are both from the same Igbo tribe. What is their reason? They said it is because people from their state are heartless and they kill people just the same way the Hausas kill.
Seriously, my guy is different. He’s of good character and has introduced me to his family. One of his brothers is even married to a woman from Anambra state too. I have no issues with his mother who embraces me as her daughter. He loves me and God knows that I love him too. He is one who respects my decisions and ensures to involve me in his plans. He hates seeing me angry. I am so in love with him such that I find it hard to speak with other men.
How do I handle my parents so I can marry him?
