Shocking! Obese Mum Conceives Again After Having Her Fallopian Tubes Tied
Lorraine and her husband already had two children 6 years ago when she had a surgical procedure to have her Fallopian tubes tied. They had decided they didn’t want any more children. However, despite the procedure, the obese mum conceived her third child – a development that left doctors in total disbelief.
According to Mirror, doctors have been unable to figure out how she got pregnant after having a procedure to block sperm from reaching her ovaries.
The equally surprised mum said:
“I got my Fallopian tubes tied about six years ago. I told the doctor, ‘do what you’ve gotta do’, I’ve already got a boy and a girl I don’t need anymore.”
Despite the shock and significant chance of pregnancy complications because of her weight, Lorraine decided to keep her baby. Fortunately, her son was born healthy.
Lorraine and her husband named him Dallas.
“He’s beautiful, the pain is worth it to complete the family,” Lorraine said.
