Nollywood Actor, Charles Okocha Reveals The One Thing He Would Never Do Because Of A Promise He Made To His Mother
Nollywood actor and Instagram comedian, Charles Okocha, has a beautiful relationship with his mum, obvious from their collaboration and sheer friendship in a number of his funny skits. In a new interview with the Punch newspapers, the dad-of-two said despite enjoying the support of his mother in everything he does, there’s one thing he would never do because of her and a promise he made to her.
As he chatted with the newspaper correspondent, discussing movies and his crazy antics in his comedy skits, the actor said:
“There is no way I can feature in a pornographic movie or act nude because of my mother and the way I was raised.
My mother supports me in everything I do but what I promised her was that I was not going to feature in such movies.
That is something I would never do because of my mother. I can act crazy roles and even appear half naked by wearing briefs but I can never be stark naked in a movie.
Acknowledging his duty to society and family, the actor further said in the interview that he is a father to two children- male and female. He identified himself as a responsible father and said he would not promote soft pornography for that reason too, but particularly for the sake of his mother, to whom he said he made a promise to never be stark naked in a movie.

I am a realist so when I am given a job, once I am sure that it is the right thing to do, I do it very well.
The interview question that prompted the actor to reveal the above was in respect to a new sexually suggestive role he played in a movie, but he insists it is his craft and he can make an impression about an act without getting into the real act.
