‘I Hope We Get Free’ -OAP TaymiB Raises Serious Concern About The Issues Women Face In The Society

Nigerian media personality, Temilola B. Akinmuda simply known as Taymib has taken to social media to point out one of the ordeal women face in the society.

In a write-up shared on her Twitter page, TaymiB condemned the crazy culture that allows men get away with their wrongs simply because they are men.

The OAP said it’s disheartening that men misbehave and society, even the church, expects the woman to apologise because that’s how men are.According to TaymiB, your husband acts like a complete d**k head, and you are supposed to beg him because that is how men are.

She went further to decry how a man cheats on his wife and it’s somehow the woman’s fault because she probably did not dress nice enough and women are being taught that this is okay whilst noting that the church does not help either.

Speaking further, she expressed hope that women would be able to break free from this culture someday because the phenomenon is really heartbreaking.

In her words,

“Women have suffered in this life. It’s crazy how our culture lets men get away with crazy things because they are men. Your husband acts like a complete dick head and you’re supposed to beg him because that’s how men are.

The man cheats and it’s somehow the woman’s fault cos you probably didn’t dress nice enough or cook enough. And women are being taught that this is ok the church doesn’t help either. I just hope we get free cos this shit is really heartbreaking.”

She said the truth…the fact that in davido and Chioma’s relationship, chioma was mocked is beyond me. How does a woman become the villain when she is cheated on ?‍♀️? We need to do better and stop stigmatizing women.

Parents teach their daughters how to be faithful, how to cross their legs and how to be modest to be a good wife…boys are taught nothing about being a good husband. Charity starts from home ?.

Haha if you wanna talk about privileges, use Will Smith’s and Jada’s own as an example or Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s, you’ll know men are not as privileged as you think.
