Nigerian Mum Celebrates 7-Year Divorce Anniversary, Reflects On How Apprehensive She Felt About Her Future When Leaving Her Marriage
A young Nigerian mother-of-two who left her marriage of eight years has taken to social media to celebrate her seven-year divorce anniversary.
The super excited mom identified as @iphieajike on Twitter expressed her joy at having survived the marriage as she left with her two daughters.
She cheered to making it out alive and recounted how she was uncertain of what the future held for her when she left her husband.
Her full tweet reads:
“Today 7 years ago, I left my marriage of 8 yrs with two little girls and moved out here. Alone, afraid and unsure of what the future held but knowing without a shadow of doubt that it was time. Cheers to making it out alive! .”
Reacting to her tweet, social media users and well-wishers trooped to the comments to congratulate her.
