Sad! Gospel Singer, Sammie Okposo’s Family Releases Statement Confirming His Death
The family of popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Sammie Okposo has released official statement, where they confirmed his death.
News went viral yesterday, that the singer has passed on at 51. According to unconfirmed reports at the time, the ‘Welu Welu’ crooner, sadly passed on on November 25.
The reports also revealed that the singer had been in the hospital for some days where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
He was said to have been recuperating but unfortunately, his health deteriorated yesterday morning leading to his death.
Confirming the reports, the Okposo family released a statement that read;
“It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to God that I announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, Minister of God, Sammie Okposo.
Sammie slept and went to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, November 25, 2022.
More details about the burial will be communicated soon.
We are consoled because we know that he is with Jesus singing with angels. We kindly request that the family is allowed to grieve peacefully at this time.”
The singer is survived by his wife, Ozioma, and his children .
