Famous singer and songwriter, Simisola Kosoko professionally known as Simi has dropped an heartfelt note to all mothers and aspiring mothers.
The beautiful mother of one joined millions across the globe to mark this year’s mother’s day, with heartwarming words and photos.
The singer shared a video on her Instagram page chronicling her pregnancy with her daughter, Deja up until the delivery.
The singer wished all mothers, including grandmothers, a happy mother’s day, noting that being a mother is one of the most supernatural things she was privileged to do. She went on to appreciate different categories of mothers.
Simi prayed for mothers trying to conceive that they would receive theirs. She captioned the video:
“Happy Mommies Day to all the moms with their babies in their arms, moms with their babies in their belly, moms who didn’t get to meet their babies, moms who chose their babies, moms that had to give up their babies, grand mommies.
Being a mom is the most supernatural thing I’ve ever had the privilege to do. It almost always activates a love like you’ve never felt. Love like you’ll probably never feel again.
I pray baby dust on all the incredible moms-to-be trying to conceive.”
Mother’s Day is a special occasion dedicated to celebrate the women who have raised us, supported us, and loved us unconditionally.
As Nigeria marked 2023 Mother’s Day today, 19th of March, Nigerian celebrities took to their pages to celebrate the special day in a more unique way.
From heartfelt social media posts to extravagant gifts; celebrities took the opportunity to show their love and appreciation for their moms, wives, grandmothers, step mother’s, mother-in-laws.
Tonto Dikeh wrote, “She is mother. Happy Mother’s Day.”
The actress-turned-politician went on to share a lovely message from her son posted by her, expressing his love and gratitude towards her. The heartfelt note detailed how she has positively impacted his life.
The note read:
“MAMA I love you and wish you the BEST calm and relaxing Mothers Day. You deserve to be pampered! Thank you for every hug, word of encouragement, and acts/show of love you’ve given me.

Skitmaker, Lasisi Elenu appreciated his wife for being a super woman and wonderful woman. He noted how the strength she has expressed is beyond unconditional and unimaginable. He wrote:

Actor, Adeniyi Johnson also penned a sweet note to his wife, Seyi Edun as she celebrates her first mother’s day. The actor noted how his wife always prayed every year to be a part of mother’s day celebration.
Fast forward to now, God has given her a new name and testimony after seven years of waiting.
Adeniyi stressed on how God has changed her name and prayers and has made her the mother of twins. In his words:
