Celebrity Mum, Rihanna Explains How Her Second Pregnancy Is “So Different” From Her First
Barbadian-American superstar, Rihanna, has revealed that she is enjoying her current pregnancy more than the first one.
While bringing her inimitable maternity style to the carpeted steps of the 2023 Met Gala last night, Rihanna also got real about expecting baby number two.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the “Love on the Brain” singer explained how her second pregnancy already feels “so different” from her first, stressing that she is more energetic.
The Grammy winner told the outlet:
“It’s so different from the first one. No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it. I feel good. I feel energetic.”
Rihanna welcomed her first child, a baby boy whose name she has yet to disclose, with longtime boyfriend A$AP Rocky in May 2022.
She also opened up on why she rushed into getting pregnant a second time in barely two years since her first child,
“I’m in love. I’m obsessed. And I don’t even feel guilty about it.”

Her husband, Rocky added, “[He’s] growing big. Beautiful, happy baby.”
Rihanna and Rocky arrived fashionably late at last night’s star-studded event, which honored late Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld with the dress code.
For the occasion, the Fenty Beauty mogul wore a dramatic white Maison Valentino gown with a long, sweeping train and a structured ivory top covered in rosettes, which completely engulfed her torso and head.

She later removed the top, revealing a form-fitting slip gown that hugged her baby bump, plus spaghetti straps and a daring plunging neckline. She finished the look off with opera-length fingerless gloves and a pair of white sunglasses with attached faux eyelashes.
Meanwhile, the rapper wore a Gucci ensemble, consisting of a black blazer, a white collared dress shirt, and a high-low red plaid pleated kilt layered over a pair of bedazzled baggy jeans.
Rocky also sported a pair of black sunglasses, then further accessorized with a silver brooch on his lapel, stud earrings, and steel-tip square-toe boots.
