‘I’m Responsible For My Marriage Crash’ – Actor Bolanle Ninolowo Admits In New Interview
Famous Nollywood star, Bolanle Ninalowo has accepted responsibility for the breakdown of his marriage with his estranged wife, Bunmi amidst rumours of him dating his colleague, Damilola Adegbite.
In a recent interview, the single dad of two noted that he was primarily responsible for his marriage crash and would not shy away from saying it.
Recalls that the actor on September 1, 2023, announced the nullification of his marriage with his wife and that they are both going their separate ways, citing an “irreconcilable marriage dissolution”.
But, speaking in a recent interview with TVC, Ninalowo admitted being “mostly responsible” for the breakup between him and his wife.
The host asked: “Were you mostly responsible for the breakup between you and your wife?”
Ninalowo replied: “Was I mostly responsible? Oh yes, I am. I take responsibility for everything that happens to me. What somebody else does is none of your problem. It is me.”
The movie star also shed more light about his alleged relationship with actress and single mom, Damilola Adegbite whom they have spotted together following his divorce.
The actor stated, with a straight face, that he never claimed to have found love again. He claimed that all he said was that he was interested in someone but didn’t know what would happen, but he never mentioned love.
In the words of Ninalowo;
“I never told you guys that. Who told you that? That I found love again…. No, I said I was peeping somebody.
You Nigerian ‘e de jo tori Olorun’ (I be you in the Name of God). Peeping… Love, Peeping… Love is two different things. Peeping marked her. You never know, Maka is a lover.”
For some time now, the actor has been sparking relationship speculations with Damilola with his constant public support for her
He recently flaunted Damilola on his Instagram page, urging his fans to help him tag her. His presumed relationship with her didn’t sit well with many especially since it has been less than three months since he announced his separation from his wife of over a decade and mother of his two kids.
The rumored relationship has earned a series of criticisms. Now taking to his social media platform to address it, Nino as he’s fondly called, urged his fans to hate him now. He stated that he has finally found the courage and strength to choose and he has done so.
He noted how pain is temporary and he has chosen love, peace, and light.
He wrote, “Hate me now! I finally found the courage & strength to choose. Pain is temporary.”
