A Muslim sister, Salimah Malik, has shared some advice on polygamy with her Muslim brothers.
In a post shared on her page, the woman opined that the best time for a man to introduce his wife to the idea of polygamy is before marriage.
She noted that it is important that the matter be discussed during courtship so that the woman won’t feel like she is trapped in a situation she is not comfortable with when her husband brings home another wife.
She wrote:
“I see a few men on here looking for a way to break the news to their wife that they are either looking for another or have already found one. Here’s some serious sister to brother advice.
The absolute best time to introduce your wife to the idea of Polygamy is BEFORE you marry her. Yes this needs to be discussed prior to marriage. That way she actually has a choice in the matter.
