TV Girl, Morayo And Husband, Femi Afolabi-Brown, Welcome A Son Months After Social Media Frenzy
It is exciting news for TV girl, Morayo Afolabi-Brown and her husband, Femi Afolabi-Brown, as they welcomed their third child yesterday, a son.
The news of the arrival of their latest addition is particularly special because of the sensational comment the TV presenter made on ‘Your View‘, a breakfast show that she co-hosts with other women on TVC .
Morayo, during a recent episode of the programme had said, although she trusts her husband, she would not take chances and have him bathe their daughter because of heightened cases of sexual perversion and abuse of little girls within and outside family.
In her words:
” I absolutely trust my husband but I won’t take chances and have him bathe my daughter.
Because, whether we like it or not, there is something flying in the air these days
that is encouraging imbalance and immoralities.”

That comment caused a lot of backlash and brought ridicule to the broadcaster, her husband, and their family. It was such an unpopular opinion especially with men and dads who felt insulted by her alleged prejudice and generalisation of men to be so low in morals that they could not be trusted with their own daughters.
Social media across platforms went into a frenzy, and the mum, who from this new announcement of a baby was pregnant at the time, had to take to the same platform of ‘Your View’ to clear the air on her intentions at the time she made the comments, apologising to her husband who social media users called a weakling and pedophile because of her comment. Away from all that, Morayo who already has twin girls broke the good news of her safe delivery on Instagram yesterday, thanking God and the hospital team that birthed her child.
The new mum wrote:
“I am so blessed to have had my baby boy at Soteria Hospital owned by CLAM. This has nothing to do with me being a TV host. They treated everyone equally.
They have experienced hands and all the nurses obviously love their jobs. We’ve always criticized churches for not doing enough but I have a testimony from this church.
They are clean, organized, peaceful and caring. I have never experienced such before. Thanks to the amazing Matrons who simply KNOW.
Their Chairman goes to every room to pray for every woman that has birthed. That man is hands on! They have never had a fatality case. They get the best consultants who takes everyone seriously. Special thanks to this team that took care of me. God bless them. @soteria_m_h”
