Unveiling Five Celebrity Moms’ Postpartum Journeys | Photos & Video
Postpartum journey begins immediately after the birth of a child as the mother’s body -including hormone levels and uterus size, returns to a non-pregnant state.
Now, there’s so much more to post-childbirth than just having a baby to cuddle. More so, in this social media age where people look like they have it altogether, there is a need to reassure new moms that postpartum journey is like rain, it falls everywhere though the pressure may vary but it does fall everywhere.
For this purpose, we unveil five celebrity moms who were real about their postpartum journeys.

American photographer, Claire Rothstein shared this beautiful photo of 40-year old Canadian actress and activist, Rachel Anne McAdams and it is beautiful.
She wrote:
“A million reasons why I wanted to post this picture. Obviously #rachelmcadams looks incredible and was quite literally the dream to work with but also this shoot was about 6 months post her giving birth to her son, so between shots she was expressing/pumping as still breastfeeding. We had a mutual appreciation disagreement about whose idea it was to take this picture but I’m still sure it was hers which makes me love her even more. Breastfeeding is the most normal thing in the world and I can’t for the life of me imagine why or how it is ever frowned upon or scared of. I don’t even think it needs explaining but just wanted to put this out there, as if it even changes one person’s perception of something so natural, so normal, so amazing then that’s great. Besides she’s wearing Versace and and @bulgariofficial diamonds and is just fucking major. Big shout out to all the girls ????????

“There is no shame in gaining weight during pregnancy (or ever).
There is no shame if it takes longer than you think it will to lose the weight (if you want to lose it at all).
There is no shame in finally breaking down and making your own jean shorts because last summer’s are just too dang short for this summer’s thighs. Bodies change. Bodies grow.Bodies shrink. It’s all love. (don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.)
Peace xx

American actress, Hilaria Baldwin, 35, wrote:
“I took this yesterday when Leonardo was about 24 hours old. I did the same thing right after Rafael was born. It always makes me a bit nervous to do something like this, but I feel that in the age of such strong body shaming, I want to do all that I can to normalize a real body and promote healthy self esteem. Many of you know that I love to show the process of life’s experiences on the body and I am a firm believer in how a good diet and the right balance of exercise make us happy, healthy, and strong. So from here on, I want to dedicate the majority of my #366daysoflivingclearly #hilarialcm daily posts to getting back in shape and I invite you to do it with me ❤️????????. Common questions last time were:
Did I have a c section?: No, I pushed him out Where are all the pads for bleeding?: I took them out briefly to snap this pic as there is a limit to how much you need to see ????. Where am I?: in the hospital room bathroom #glamour
Oh, and no filter. Just brightened it up a bit.”

“Would you believe I’m 160 pounds and 5’3″? By ‘regular standards’ that makes me obese. I know I’m not at my goal or anywhere near it after Baby 2 but dammit I don’t feel obese. The only thing I’m feeling is myself. Stay off that scale ladies! #feelingmyself#strongismygoal#bodygoals@msjeanettejenkins#happysaturday#getitin#GIJaneismyWCW”
