Mom-Of-Two, Chrissy Teigen Gets Real On Finding Balance In Her Demanding Career And The Homefront
It takes a village to raise kids, and Chrissy Teigen is also admitting it. The multi-talented celebrity mom wouldn’t be able to maintain her career if it wasn’t for the help she gets — and like all topics parenting-related, she isn’t ashamed to admit it.
In a new conversation with one of her Twitter followers who asked her to share her personal experience working while raising her two kids, Luna and Miles, the model-slash-host gets real about her work/parenting situation. The fan wrote:
“Can you please talk about working while pregnant, shortly post-pregnancy and away from your babies. I’m watching you on #BringTheFunny and you’re so pro and engaged and focused, and I know your babies were/are small and wanting of you.”

Because Chrissy, a cookbook author is one of the most transparent, no BS and totally real celebrity moms out there, she didn’t try to pretend. The 33-year-old mother and wife tweeted in response that she wouldn’t have been able to find balance in her seriously successful and demanding career and the home front if not for her help. She tweeted:
“Girl I have HELP and a half. That’s it. There is no way I could have done it without it. I’m so lucky to have it and I don’t know how anyone else does it. I have so much respect for all of you. (Also our amazing set provided an amazing daycare room).”

Though Chrissy’s tweet may have seemed like a small gesture, her message resonated with dozens of working moms who thanked her for her honesty.
One commenter wrote: “Thank you for lifting up other moms. This is how it’s done! We need more of this!”
Another tweeted: “THANK YOU for being so real. This is hard; new moms shouldn’t be fed an illusion.”
