BABY RECIPE: Turkey & Carrot Puree

When it comes to baby food, there really are a lot of healthy ingredients we can combine to excite their taste buds and ensure they get very optimal nutrition. This is one quite tasty and easy-to-prepare recipe my children loved a lot as babies. I’m sure your baby would too.

Ingredients

2 medium size carrots
210 grams turnip
20 grams parsnip
2 tbsp butter
50 grams cooked turkey (or chicken, fish)

How to prepare
*Peel carrots, turnip and parsnip.

*Cut into smaller pieces and rinse well in cold water.
*Cook on medium heat with 3 dl water. Once all the root vegetables are soft, add turkey and let it cook for extra 5 minutes. Add butter and blend the mixture into a soft paste. Serve warm.
