Mayowa Shukura Ahmed, the young lady who was diagnosed with stage four ovarian cancer (read here) has just passed on.
According to reports, she died this afternoon August 21st in a hospital in SouthAfrica after battling Ovarian cancer.
Recall that she was flown to SouthAfrica on August 11th for medical treatment after Nigerians raised millions to save her life.
This news may not come as a shock to her friends and well wishers who would have loved to see her survive the ordeal following a web of controversies that surrounded the raising of funds for her treatment.
Ehyaa. Trying to treat Cancer at stage 4 was an exercise in futility(except by miracle). No more pains and suffering from cancer. May her soul rest in peace
