Popular Nigerian Blogger, Tosin “OloriSuperGal” Ajibade Opens Up On How Far She’s Gone To Find Love

Popular blogger and media personality, Tosin Ajibade popularly known as OloriSupergal in a recent chat with PUNCH, revealed that there was a time in her life when she had to lower her standard for the man she loved.

Tosin “OloriSuperGal” Ajibade, 31 is a Nigerian known for her lifestyle and entertainment website, OloriSuperGal.com. She is also the organizer of the New Media Conference that is held annually in Nigeria.

In her chat with PUNCH, the author of ‘From Misfit to Hero,’ stated that she is a living testimony to the fact that some men are uncomfortable around successful women. She added that despite lowering her standard for love, the relationship did not still work out.

“When a young lady is successful, it sometimes frightens men. I have had some experiences. There are several times men have told me that they cannot date me because I am richer than them.

In one of my experiences with a man, I had to lower my standard to the point that I always had to drive down from Victoria Island to Isolo and back just to be with him. At a point, I even left my car in his house for his use and was hopping in taxis just to show that I was committed to the relationship.

At the end of the day, it did not change anything. Currently, I am not in a relationship but if I have to be in one, I would like to be with a man that is very supportive; a person that can help me lift some burdens off my shoulder. I do not know it all but I am learning from my mistakes,” she said.

”For me, it was not a smooth journey the way successful people make it sound. At every level I found myself, I had to push myself harder regardless of the circumstances.

“When I started, there were no manuals and I had to learn from my bosses along the line. I was more like an experiment. Basically, it is all about my journey.

I was rejected a lot on my way to success but I did not let it bother me. Now, I am enjoying every challenge I face.”
