Cardi B’s Honest Take On The Not-So-Glamorous Side Of Motherhood Is Relatable
When it comes to motherhood, American rapper, singer, and songwriter, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is as honest as she comes.
The “I Like It” rapper, 26, exclusively invited ET to the set of her latest campaign photo shoot with Fashion Nova, where she honestly spoke about everything from motherhood to working on her post-baby body following the birth of her 9-month-old daughter, Kulture, with partner, Offset.
During the candid interview, the Bronx-born first time mom revealed that she recently underwent breast cosmetic surgery. According to her, she had her breast implants redone as sort of a mummy makeover and to have her shape back in order.
She said in a video posted to Instagram last September that she was planning to go under the knife after Kulture “did [her] bad.” Cardi told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday:
“I just got my boobs redone,. I feel good, but sometimes I feel, like, not, you know? [When] your skin is stretched out. Yes, my daughter f–ked me up. She did, she so did.”

Baby Kulture was actually on set with her hard-working mama for the shoot, but the hustlers actress admitted that she often experiences “mom guilt” while balancing motherhood with her hugely successful career. cardi told the outlet:
“I do experience that mom guilt, you know? She’s here, but it makes me sad sometimes because it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, all that traveling. It makes me sad sometimes because it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, all that traveling’.
I know her sleeping schedule is getting a little messed up … Every single time that she gets on an airplane, it’s all good until the landing. She starts crying, and I just be feeling so sad because I know the pain, you know, when your ears pop.
Sometimes I wake up in the morning and she’s in my bed, and I just want to cuddle and [I can’t]. It is getting harder because she knows me. She recognizes more now and … you can just tell she wants me to be there. Sometimes, when she sees me leaving, she looks up and goes, ‘Bitch, where you going?’”

Cardi may travel a lot, but she was with her daughter for one major moment in particular. After taking home her first Grammy, she documented her daughter saying, “Mama.”
“Oh, my God!” the new mom screamed when the baby girl spoke. She captioned the sweet Instagram footage, “After a week of only saying papa! She saying mama! Happy 7 months Kulture! We love you.”
