Potato inserted into woman’s vagina as contraceptive grows roots
Medics in a Colombian hospital were shocked when they discovered a potato growing in a woman vagina.
The 22-year-old woman who went to the hospital after experiencing some cramps in her abdomen told the medics that she had inserted a potato in her private part after her mother told her it was a fail proof contraceptive method. She said, “My mum told me that if I didn’t want to get pregnant, I should put a potato up there. I believed her.”
According to Columbiareports.co, the potato which were inserted a few weeks earlier germinated and grew roots. Luckily, she did not require surgery to remove the vegetable and will be able to lead a normal life.
Isn’t this just one more reason to properly teach sex education to children?
