Pregnant Woman Confronts Anti-Abortion Campaigners Outside A London Clinic, Leaves Them Speechless

Pro-life campaigners are often criticized for harassing women seen going into abortion clinics but the tables were turned when a heavily pregnant lady hit back at anti-termination protesters demonstrating outside a London health centre – leaving them lost for words.

MailOnline reports:

The verbal dressing-down came as a worker for Blackfriars Medical Practice, a GP surgery offering abortion services in Southwark, confronted Abort67 members and asked them to stop filming to protect patient confidentiality.
Abort67 members denied specifically filming patients going into the surgery and claimed that they were using the cameras to provide evidence against those who accuse them of bullying tactics.

A pregnant passer-by then approached the group as they argue about the use of cameras.

She tells the protesters: ‘You are wrong in what you’re doing. You don’t know why people are doing what they’re doing, but you want to be out here judging and then filming.’

When one of the female protesters tries to fight back by claiming that she had an abortion in the past, the lady labels her a hypocrite.

She said: ‘You had an abortion but because you’re not happy with what you’re doing, you’re standing out here making other people feel guilty. When you had an abortion, that was your choice. Many people have been abused, you don’t know what their reasons are for, so I think this is so wrong on so many levels.’

Referring to a recent incident in which a newborn baby was found dead in a wheelie bin in North Yorkshire, she adds: ‘There was a baby on the news that got found in the bin. Maybe if their mum didn’t feel that way because of people like you, that baby wouldn’t have died. You think it’s better for them to get rid of it at ten weeks (in the womb) or to actually go through with the birth and then kill the child?’

The unnamed woman goes on to tell the group they should have researched about the local area before protesting as the clinic is near to Kids Company, a charity providing support to vulnerable inner-city children.

Many of the children who go to the charity for help have been sexually abused or forced into sex work.
The woman said: ‘There’s Kids Company round there, where we’re helping thousands and thousands of kids while you’re out here. You are in the wrong place, especially when we have our people that are going through their s***, they’re going to Kids Company where we’re meant to help them, then they see this.’

She adds: ‘To be standing out here and making other people feel guilty is so wrong.’

As the woman walks away, the protesters are left speechless and are unable to argue back.

Hundreds of people have taken to Twitter to applaud the woman for her ‘inspiring speech.’

Who agrees with her?

  • I totally support the pregnant woman. I have not had an abortion before and I will never do it but please people should stop this hypocritical act of critizing those who do it. People do things for different reasons.

  • All signs of the end time. Maybe she should tell us more reasons why people should take other living beings lives.

  • I dnt agree with d woman regardless of her point it doesn’t make abortion right. the risk is higher with abortion than with normal delivery. However if u are not prepared for it , avoid it . They can take birth control pills than getting pregnant and aborting.

  • D riSk in abortion is terrible cos u may lost ur life or even remain infertile for life

  • well i only support inevitable abortion.based on accident,by choice rape.children are a gift no matter wat.

  • Having abortion isn’t the first point of sin, if we decide to jugde critically….we forgive the sin of illigetimate sex but not the sin of bortion right? some people have gotten pregnant because they were raped, some through molestation by family members, superiors and all. They all have their reason and righ to take the decisions they have taken and on this earth let us allow God to be The Jugde of us all…….. God has forgiven some many people of their sins, where as human beings are holding that sin that wasnt committed against you, against them. If one wants to help, help with the motherless children, who have been brought into this world by un-willing parent/parents.

I, think and believe that there are a whole lots of stuffs in our lives that needs to be sorted, lets try to judge our own selves and God be the jugde of us all. that is my own point of view!.

  • Serves them right.. Though i don’t support abortion i think people have reasons for what they do.. Nobody has the right to criticise another.

  • Honestly no one has any reason whatsoever to judge anyone who intends to go or not go for an abortion. Though its might b wrong but u don’t know her reasons for taking that decision, she might not b as previledg and responsible as u are,

  • If you are man enough to have sex and your woman enough to have sex, then you should face the responsibilities for your actions. ”ABORTION” is bad no matter from the dimension it’s being viewed. Nobody has the right to create a life so we shouldn’t have the right to terminate one. Even when a scan shows that the child in the womb will be disabled, it’s not still in our power to end such life because God might want to use that child to prove a point, and we hereby go ahead of God to make Him look stupid? NO. In my opinion, the woman is not making any sense, no child is a mistake, God has plans for every human being He created.

  • I love that woman! She has my spirit. I hate people who go about judging people, when you don’t know what they are going through or the reason behind the action they have taken. She is my hero for 2014!

  • Sometimes, u don’t really need to blame people when they decide to take drastic action on some things. That woman may be in a very big emotional pains. Who knows.

  • Abortion is a grevious sin. But sometimes, we cannot really blame people when they decide to take drastic action on some issues. That woman may be in a serious emotional pains. Who knows.

  • Hmmmmmm…. i agree with her to an extent, she has a point, but the truth still remains that abortion is wrong. If u feel u cany take care of the child. Give the child up for adoption

  • Hmmmmmm…. i agree with her to an extent, she has a point, but the truth still remains that abortion is wrong. If u feel u canttake care of the child. Give the child up for adoption

  • Abortion isn’t just flushing out blood it is killing a baby with LIFE…I DON’T support the woman. If you can’t take responsibility for you action why not ZIP UP!

  • From my own point of view, Abortion is wrong no matter the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy. Even if one got pregnant through rape or molestation, the ideal thing is to have the baby and give it away than aborting it. I think in a long run, you will feel more pain for aborting the child than giving it away. I strongly believe only God has the power to take life.

  • She is right telling them that is not the right place for the campaign but is wrong when she said they are judging, they are trying to correct people in the wrong way.

  • I dnt agree wit her,
Rather than getting pregnant nd opting for abortion y not use precautive methods in order nt to get, pregnant at d first place.

  • After an abortion many women find themselves dealing with increased use of drugs and/or alcohol to deaden their pain, reoccurring insomnia and nightmares, eating disorders, suicidal feelings, and many even attempt suicide, this is why women needs to think twice before embarking on such.

  • abortion is wrong except on few cases.cos if u are woman enough to have sex then u shld b woman enuf to carry a pregnancy.

  • I do not agree with her; we cant all be doing the same thing; different people for different causes and then abortion is wrong. Only a tiny percentage are rape/incest related.

  • In as much as her speech makes a lot of sense,I’m still not in support of her.My reasons being dat no one has de right to take a life.Abstinance is de word n for dos who cannot abstain can use prottection.

  • Abortion isn’t right But people shouldn’t behave like hypocrite when they see people doing something wrong. You can only advise and not condemn and leave God to judge

  • Abortion is wrong yes! but everyone is entiled to his or her opinion, so making them feel guilty for their act won’t really make them repent but may result in even committing suicide. not every bad person enjoys doing bad so just leave them to their conscience to condem
