Woman Gives Birth To Baby Without Arms In Ogun, Dad Runs
The birth of a baby heralds joy but this was not the case for one Mr. Mudashiru Sheriffdeen who reportedly lives in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State as his wife, Taiwo, was on Tuesday delivered of a baby boy who had no arms.
The baby boy, Punch gathered, was born around 2pm at a private hospital in Ado/Odo-Ota Local Government Area of the state.
It was further learnt that the baby weighed 3.25 kilogrammes at birth.
The mother of the baby reportedly said that immediately she gave birth to the baby boy, her husband took to his heels on hearing that the baby was born without arms.
Expressing her sadness, she said, “This is my first child and I do not know why I gave birth to this kind of a baby. Immediately my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he ran away and had not come to see me. He is a commercial bus driver, and we had been married now for almost two years before God decided to answer our prayers. When I was pregnant, we took every steps that the doctor directed us to take, but we did not know why we came about this calamity.”
While pleading for assistance from well meaning Nigerians, Mrs Sheriffdeen said, “I have been warned by both my husband and our landlord not to bring the child home. The hospital management has asked us to leave the hospital. Now, this child and I have nowhere to go, I don’t need this baby. I want government to adopt him.”
why will you say you don’t need the baby? even when every body rejected the baby, you as a mother should stand by his side. You don’t know the lesson God wants to teach you from this. pls take care of that baby your self.
OMG. Why did d doctors not see it during scan. Dat is y dere is scan for God seek. Dis is really sad.

Sad!!! And the husband couldn’t be with her at this very time she needs him most? Some men are not just fit to be called one at all.
Deformity is no more a big issue these days cos people are doing great and mighty things these days. There are lots of celebrities with one deformity or another, God has a plan for every individual He created. Govt should help her to bring up this special kid cos it’s not going to be easy for her especially now that her danfo driver of a husband has taken off.

This is so sad! The goverment should assist her in raising that child up, its not gonna be easy for her especially now that her hubby has abandoned her. There is ability in disability, I pray God give her the strenght to carry on..

The child may be deformed, but the mother should not give up on him. If she had done the necessary scan during pregnancy, i am sure it could have been detected and prepared for it, not running away. God will make a way. There are artificial limbs these days.

The mother should take care of her baby and not give him away. She should be asking for financial assistance and programs for the baby as he grows. I pray good people of Nigeria comes to her rescue
