Elton John’s Mum Books Son’s Lookalike For 90th Birthday Following Family Rift

Sir Elton John’s estranged mum reportedly booked a lookalike of her son for her 90th birthday.

Sheila Farebrother joined family and friends on the dance floor after hiring Ultimate Elton for her party in a converted barn on Saturday. Sheila fell out with her son in 2008 after a comment she made to his hubby, David Furnish. Asked at the weekend if she had been contacted by Sir Elton, she reportedly said: “No.”

She has previously spoken about their row.

In 2011 she said: “He has cut me off completely. It happened three years ago this June. He has had nothing to do with me since then. My son cut me out of his life for good.”
