Couple Who Met On Dating Site Discover They Are Siblings

Erik de Vries, 24, and Josephine Egberts, 22, met on dating website, Tinder, and started a relationship. As the two chatted and got to know each other, they realized they were long lost siblings and were overjoyed to reunite.

Erik said that the more the woman spoke about her background, the weirder things got and he soon began to wonder if the love interest was actually his long lost sister.

The siblings had not seen each other for 16 years since their parents separated.

Erik and his brother, moved to Belgium with her dad and Josephine stayed in Holland with her mother – and the two completely lost contact.

When Erik decided to return to Holland earlier this year, he used Tinder to find love. Erik and Josephine got along well at first, but after learning details about her past, he began to be uncomfortable.

When Josephine said that she lost contact with her twin brothers Maarten, Erik knew that she was indeed his sister.

The two were brought together for a family portrait with Josephine’s twin brother, Maarten, by the Dutch dating site.

Erik admitted it is a little embarrassing to have flirted with his own sister.
