Benefit Mum Opts For A Cesarean Birth Because She’s Too Posh To Push

A pregnant mother of 11 who solely lives off benefits costing taxpayer more than £39,000 per year is due to give birth to her twelfth child via an NHS-funded caesarean because natural birth is ‘too painful’.

Cheryl Prudham who plans to have more children as she stands to benefit more money from the government has demanded the £2,600 c-section because she is ‘too posh to push’ and it is ‘easier’ than giving birth naturally even though birth would cost the taxpayer around £1,000.

She told the Sunday People: ‘I know a caesarean costs more, but I don’t care. It’s what I want – it’s my body.
‘I know more about giving birth than most people and I don’t want to put my body through labour again.’
She added: ‘It’s so much easier to have a caesarean. Some celebrities say they are too posh to push so why can’t I?’

Mrs Prudham also said she had ‘got her pelvic floor back to where she was’ since giving birth last autumn to twins Lacey-Mae and Lexi-Rose and that she ‘didn’t want to lose it again.’

Mrs Prudham, who has never worked for one day but plans to have more children has already spent ‘hundreds’ of pounds on new outfits for the little girl, is currently on the waiting list for a bigger council house in a ‘more upmarket area’.

She said she and her husband Robert, 30, need more space for their ever-expanding family, as well as a ‘brand new smart kitchen’. She even suggested that the council knock two houses into one to accommodate for the family, if there is not a large enough house available.

Last month, it emerged that the couple were planning to renew their wedding vows during a ‘no expense spared’ jaunt to Las Vegas where they plan on trying for baby number 13. Although Mr Prudham previously had a vasectomy, he is due to get it reversed so they can have a baby called ‘Vegas’.

The pair, who have only just got back together after a short split because they want to have more children, were photographed visiting their local Thomson travel agent and taking away brochures for the American casino city.

Mrs Prudham plans to wear a £3,000 designer gown for the ceremony. The couple will stay at the Circus Circus hotel and intend to renew their vows at the infamous Chapel of Love, before being whisked away in a chauffeur-driven limousine.

They have also booked to see some shows and go on a helicopter tour across Nevada.

It is not their first taxpayer-funded jaunt. Last year they took a £7,000 trip to Menorca, Spain. Mrs Prudham told Closer magazine at the time: ‘I don’t feel bad about using taxpayers’ money. We’re entitled to a holiday.’

The Prudhams claim £39,192 in benefits a year on top of Mr Prudham’s monthly salary of £1,600 as a delivery driver – bringing their total annual income up to almost £60,000.

They managed to avoid the Government’s £26,000-a-year cap on state handouts because Mr Prudham works enough hours to claim working tax credit.

What examples are they setting for their children?benefit mum1
